Most of us at some point suffer lower back pain which can be very mild to severely debilitating.

Do you:
• Wake up in the morning and your back feels stiff but improves as the day progresses
• Have sharp pain in the lower back when twisting, bending carrying, standing up
• Continual dull ache in the back
• Pain with prolonged sitting
• Pain that improves when you change position

Back pain can be caused by many things. Mild pain can usually be improved by undertaking specific exercises to strengthen up the muscles that support your spine.

This course is designed to teach attendees some simple progressive exercises that you can do at home. Week by week your muscles will strengthen, and the spine will attain the stability it needs for your spine to do its job - SUPPORT YOU!

Course Outline

The course runs for 6 weeks. Throughout the course attendees can text or email questions of the instructor.

Week 1
Introduction to basic exercises 0.45 hrs in class.
Attendee for the remainder of the week completes the demonstrated exercises each day until the next class.

Week 2
Exercises are progressed 0.45 hr in class
Attendee for the remainder of the week.

Week 3
Recap of week 2 exercises to ensure exercises fully understood and correct technique is used.
Attendee for the remainder of the week completes the demonstrated exercises each day until the next class.

Week 4
Exercises are progressed 0.45 hr in class
Attendee for the remainder of the week and the next week completes the demonstrated exercises each day until the next class.

Week 5
Recap of week 4 exercises to ensure exercises fully understood and correct technique is used.
Attendee for the remainder of the week completes the demonstrated exercises each day until the next class.

Week 6
0.5 hr class to review and recap exercises

Resistance Band
Mat

Cost

All equipment can be hired for the duration of the course.

Fee of $170

Equipment for hire cost $40, refundable on return of equipment in the same condition as loaned.

Class times Friday’s at 10:45 for 0.45 hrs

Agreement

Fees are paid in full prior to the course commencing.
There are no refunds. If exceptional circumstances arise the attendee should discuss with the trainer for a deferment.
This course is not meant for people with chronic diagnosed conditions who are under the care of a physician.
You are medically sound to undertake the course of exercise and you undertake the exercises at your sole risk and responsibility.
